172 tyre

Anyone on here ever owned or still own a 172? We need a new tyre for ours and wanted some recommendations please. At the moment we have a selection on the car, Conti, Federal, Nankang and the baddie is a Nankang. We will eventually have the same tyre all round, so it needs to be a good one.
Goodyear Eagle F1's are meant to be pretty good but i'm struggling to find one online :nope:

Any one tried Toyo's on any of the RS range? I was impressed with them on our 306 diesel but obviously it's a completely different car.

I like Hankook's V12 Evo, but you would have to check the fittment for the 172. 16" isn't it?

Yes 16". I've been looking for the v12 evo's, can't find them

The michelin exalto are fantastic, had them on my old car

Cant go far wrong with Toyos although alot of people seem to give them a bad rating on here.

Had toyo T1Rs attached to everything in my family from my birds 182 upto my old mans 400bhp Cossie and they never let us down. Fantastic dry grip, zero aqua plaining charactaristics, decent life ( debatable im sure ) and very low road noise.
