Grey Grilles, how to remove

Can anyone tell me how to get the two upper grilles off please. Do I have to remove the bumper? They have gone grey and stained and I want to get them touched up if it's not too much trouble.
Thanks

Funny you should ask, I have just removed mine and are currently at the bodyshop being painted.

To remove the grill you need to pull firmly from the bottom left corner, once you have one corner up clipped just carry of pulling alone the bottom until all 3 clips are released. The grills have 3 clips at the bottom and 3 lugs at the top.

Undo 3 bolts on the panel that the bonnet closes onto which gives a bit of slack on the top of the bumper. you can slip your hand in and unclip from the inside. Much easier way than above.....

I'll have to try this too, as mine have faded beyond belief too and the cars only a year old! I was told by the dealer's its prob because of a cleaner thats been used to clean them....rubbish I think, but what can you do!

I was unable to get the bolts removed on mine, they were just spinning so I just tugged at one and it came out, easy as that.

I have just bought some poorboys stuff to try and resolve this problems, not tried it yet though

Mine is 13 months old now and still no fade - I'm keen to believe it's because it is garaged.

mine is allways in the garage, not sure about the previous owner tho, ?

the bottom grill is still black its just the 2 top ones, :worried:

Mine is outside parked on the drive; I noticed mine had turned grey after the car was only 3 months old.

Don’t know if it’s either acid rain, sun or the cleaning fluid we use.

Also tried all kinds of different trim restores and none worked.
