Cheers, I fancied Ultraleggeras but couldn't find them in red. wasn't prepared to pay the price for Allegarittas like @Yiannis has, though they remain my favourite wheels. Team Dynamics are pretty light I believe & I like the motor sport look.

The TD are very good on the lightweight point. Very very close to the OZ wheels. And honestly, I much prefer the look of the TD over the Alleggerita. They look two inches smaller than they are for some reason. Definitely the best from a function over form point of view but aesthetics is still really important to me. I think you've made the right choice. And saved yourself a few pennies too.

Ah, that explains a lot! Got lost with @Gordini, @Chris & a couple of others & arrived at the lunch stop after everyone had cleared off. Catch you in Spa! (Not literally you understand! My Clio will be a mobile chicane for your Megane. Do I care? Not one bit, I'm going to be having a blast! Might blag a passenger ride off you though!)

If you cared about being overtaken on a straight you wouldn't have a clio! Get it to a corner and see everything else dissapear is where its at. I do miss mine sometimes! But thankfully the megane is very similar.

On my way home from Rentec Autocare in Edinburgh. Full service, cam belt, water pump, dephaser, full strip & clean of brakes, front pads replaced,brake fluid changed & new braided lines up front, gearbox oil changed, Poweflex bushes on engine/gearbox mounts. I supplied brake pads (DS2500) & fluid (RBF600) along with Millers gearbox oil, the Poweflex mounts & the brake lines (KTR). Rentec supplied engine oil & filter f.o.c. (Elf oil & genuine Renault filter). All in for under £800 which I thought was pretty good for all that. Better a good independent Renault specialist than Arnold Clark who run my local Renault dealership. Ready for Spa. Still waiting on my new wheels. Probably another 3 weeks or so.

Yeah Ben, I might not clean the car as often as some folk, but maintenance I really like to get done properly & probably a bit more than necessary. As long as the car is reasonably clean it's ok, but maintenance is vital to me. Look after them & they look after you.
