N/S Front plastic wheel liner front bit

Hi all

Iv been trying to get this part N/S FRONT WHEEL ARCH LINER FRONT BIT for ages and will not pay £168 from Renault. Dose anyone know if I could make one fit from a standard Clio please? See pic .

I no it won’t be wide enough but for the mean time would it do as a temp fix till I get the rite one ?

They’re really hard to come by second hand unfortunately - they tend to always get broken in front end accidents from what I’ve seen. Best of luck trying to get a normal one to fit, I don’t know exactly how different they are but I’d guess quite a bit looking at the difference between the standard and rs arches.

I didn’t go for it in the end will just have to wait till I find the correct liner . Cheers

That works well, it works even better albeit a bit messier if you pu sealant a strip of similar plastic over the crack... that way it gets massive stiffness back and is more or less like the ordinary part and as strong, cable tie repairs like that don’t seem as stiff

If I get chance I’ll whip mine off and have a go at fabricating a spare And see if it’s doable...
