Painting grills, trims and deffuser

Hi all , I’ve just bought a white 197 cup and love driving it.
The grills and defuser are grey so I’m thinking of painting them but do I go Matt, satin , gloss or semi gloss??
Photos would be great
.

I've done my grills satin black but I think gloss would also look good. I think satin black is how they would've looked out the factory

Anyone got any pictures as I want to do mine but not sure if I should go gloss or satin. Been told by a mobile repairer than satin on the front would be better to feather in if any stone chips happened.

Satin black - done grills and diffuser.

Looks very good, like brand new. Just take off, good clean, spray with primer and then satin black. Did it with bog standard Halfords stuff and holds great now two years.

Here’s the picture, just looks better as if you have used the permanent panel sprays that are crap and fade after 10 minutes.

I've just done mine with some cheap Matt and looks 100% better

For best results

-400 grip sand paper
-Primer for plastic
-Paint

4-5 coats 10-15 minutes between them

I use black rally ... is mat

I did the same... first time I’d done any spraying. It’s a doddle.

If its smooth, if it shines it wants a sand front grill not bad just need a good clean before any paint touches
