Rear seat question?

Quick question, I want to remove my rear seats as I only ever carry one other passenger.

I have been told if I do this I will need to remove the rear seatbelts as well to be road legal, is this only for MOT time or am I going to get finned if I get pulled by the boys in blue?

what colour an how much dude?
i work for a flooring contractor so should have some knockin about somewhere

im gonna make a flat floor in mine tho, an cover it in carbon effect vinyl i think, ill get some pics up of what i did in my mk1

Ye if you have any kicking around let me know how much you want for it, its the standard Mk3 Carpet, so black.

Sourcing the right colour is hard I've tried . I think the feel is strange also so I've hot an almost identical colour match . But not perfect like I want it .
