Removing interior metal trims

For the seat mounting brackets, you'll need a spot weld drill
Drill out the spot welds and rivets, and it should peel away from the metal underneath.


As for the material around the strut top. I'd be tempted leave that there. I'm not sure if it offers any extra rigidity...... I'm sure someone will be able to chime in.

I drilled all mine out with a spot weld drill be be careful not to drill all the way through. Takes hours.

This ^^^^ leave the strut top area alone, if it’s structural metal it isn’t optional...
