Rotary Clicky Noise..?

The clio has started to make a very similar noise to this, taken it to a few mechanics and they cant diagnose without dropping the gearbox and cluth out..

just wondernig if anyone has had this and could say what it is or what it most likely is.. thanks..

why do they need to remove the gearbox??? are they thick or plain stupid?

sounds top end so head off first....

Drop the engine oil out look for any metal in there if none put it back in and assume it's coming from outside of the engine pully area ect

the noise is only when you have the clutch down though.. and in mine the noise is definitely at the bottom of the car

well the video makes it sound all at the top end!

if they go it usually stalls the engine due to crankshaft end float

Mine made that noise with the clutch down

Turned out I snapped part of the clutch
