Track day rubber marks

Would a tar remove be best for the track day rubber marks from chunks of tyre hitting my car?

I probably need a good tar remove on the sides anyway, I think the only thing I'm aware of is tardis, any good?

The autoglym bug and tar remover works nicely on it. TBH i've found that if you've got it protected before hand then it should come off with shampoo.

It may well do, I haven't washed the car since the track day to try. I despise washing cars because when I do I'm quite particular about doing it so it takes me ages!

Carpro TriX is another good product to use, Tar and Iron remover in one.

Just been removing the above from a R8 thats been at the Ring & Spa for 3 days, tar remover followed by a light polish to remove any remainder.

White spirits a way too abrasive for car paint.

You our could end up with a dull patch from rubbing the area.

Best off with a car friendly product.

I washed the car today, just needed some elbow grease with the wash mitt. Wasn't hard to shift at all really. Some of the blood spots from flys were far harder to shift!
