Winter Detailing

So you've done your pre-winter seal, but after that during the winter months is it best to carry on cleaning the car often like usual or better to delay it and clean less often due to the weather and bad condition of the roads (e.g. dirt, grit etc)?

I've heard different opinions on this and just wondering what people do regards to their detailing.

I've also thought its best to keep all that dirt and grit off the car. Good layers of wax, sealants etc will keep up the protection but a clean car has got to be a happy car!

Frustrating though that as soon as you've finished, you know it will look filthy again a few miles down the road!
