A Very Confused Looking

JohnJ

I was in the Trophy not the 200 at charlie sweeps corner.

You looked like you just woke up lol

ha!

I'm ill at the moment so that probably explains the 'run down, trampish hobo' look I was sporting, I did manage to clock a blurry vision of you laughing at me tho so cheers for that lol

Just remembered also, I was deep in thought deciding whether to abort my right turn position in favour of a cheeky left so I could drive past Garforth College and impress the 13 year olds.

Megane looked great on the road, like a blurry yellow streak of deliciousness in my half open eyes.

ha, ha them 13 year old love a drive by...........

RB looks ace imo, it was a close second for the 200 along with AG.

Thanks, yea RB was the only one for me really, most of everything I own is blue
Trying to convince the misus to get a LY twingo (mainly cos it'll tie in with the yellow bits on mine!) Got the decals and interior i.d pack so it's all garish and loud..

Fixed the xenons by deactivating the auto lights, but now they've stopped working altogether, I think i'm going to have to buy a new full set with a warranty and have someone else fit them, I just have no clue what i'm doing when it comes to electrical stuff.

Have you fitted anti flicker hid decoder to each unit? I'm sure they need one as the car won't be programmed to accept a discharge bulb?

I don't think they are a lot, £5 ish

I love cars, and love driving, but as far as my knowledge of how they work... I'm of the belief that my car is powered by fairy dust and a team of well dressed goblins operating a system of pulleys beneath the bonnet in order to make the wheels go round.

So the chances of me fitting anything other than a diamond badge cover are pretty slim.

I think my best bet is buying some of those things and having someone else fit them for me.

is there anywhere around us specialising in that sort of thing?

ebay mate, they simply fit directly on to the existing wiring using the connectors and then onto the lights.

They SHOULD act as a smoothing capacitor to stop flicker or the bulb not coming on.

its not something i have done but i THINK you need something like

THIS

let me know how you get on as its something i have considered.

Don't forget you will have to put your normal ones back on for the MOT unless you fit headlamp washers and levelling arms or bung the MOT centre a few quid.
