ABS Removal 197

Does anyone know how to remove the ABS on a 197 ??

Isn't that linked with the ESP system as well? Therefore you can't have one without the other? But I might be talking rubbish...

the bake lines all go through the abs actuator so you would need to re-pipe it....be easier pulling the fuse!

Thats what we are wanting to get rid of the abs actuator + pipes... its for a trackday car

As above - re-do brake pipes to wheels.

It could have brake bias as part of it though so a brake bias valve will prob be needed for rear.

I tried to drive with the ABS off and it messed up the brake bias. It was like having a RWD car. Don't do it.

Now looking into fitting a Brake Bias valve... I see Wilwood do one at a sensible price, anybody tried fitting anything like this ??

Cup racers ditch ABS etc, diag and even part numbers if you need bits attached.
