Airbag light on

My airbag light came on last thursday, it started by flicking on and off every few mins but now its just constantly on

I've heard it could be the connections under the seat?

The cars booked in for service and mot next tuesday so could just wait till then but thought if i could fix it before i would

need to check it out new mot regs mean its a fail with the air bag light on!!!

more than likely the wiring/plugs under the front seats

played around with the plugs under the seat but the lights still on
