Right I thought it was time to get a progress thread sorted as I've had the car for a couple of months and started to tinker...

Apologise for the amount of pictures I get a bit trigger happy lol

So before owning the Clio I had a Sapphire Black Corsa VXR which was fully forged. It was a good little car but the time felt right to move on and I found this beast with the spec I wanted. It came with the cup pack and the Recaros (which were a must!). I had viewed an Alien Green Cup and a LY with the built in sat nav but I preferred the Glacier white over both which surprised me a bit. First things first filled it up with V-power...



In comparison, the Corsa was quick in a straight line, however the Clio offers a much better driving experience in the corners. I feel like I can throw it into any corner and it just grips and grips.

Then got rid of the 'Clio' on the back, I prefer it de-badged changes the shape somehow...




I found a Cup spoiler for a great price, which completes the back end IMO and ties it all together. I wasn't sure with it being black that it would stick out to much but it seems to make the car flow...




The same week I picked up some K-tec spacers 20mm, when I went to get them I was offered a pair of 10mm for the front which I couldn't refuse. The pics don't do them any justice, but I love the difference they make. The alloys fill the arch much better and will hopefully complete the look I'm after when its lowered.

Then gave it a good clean... I'm happy with the results got a half decent reflection from it. Having had the black Corsa I thought id miss the reflection but the Clio doesn't disappoint. Gets dirty so quickly though







So having seen a few fellow GW's around my home town I decided I wanted mine to look a bit different, after a lot of thought I went for a double stripe. I had toyed with the idea of a black roof or bonnet however a few people have already done it. I was over the moon with how it came out and I think it really sets it off.

That's it for now however future plans include:
H&R springs
Akrapovic Exhaust - thinking about removing centre silencer while saving (I need more noise)
Tow Strap (not 100% yet)
Tints
LED lights
K-tec induction kit
Side Skirts
Remap
Drilled and Grooved Disks
Get my private plate on (eventually)

Then get it around a few tracks and just enjoy it for the great pocket rocket it is.

Got some more pics on the way once the led side lights and mtec bulbs have gone in just this weather and time isn't helping! I got the spoiler of eBay Pav, it was brand new just been sprayed but the guy had sold his car before he got round to put it on, I'm well happy with it lol

Just a quick update, fitted a pair of LED side lights and Mtec cosmo blue bulbs. Love the blue tint you get and visibility is still good in the dark. Pic doesn't do then justice... Next swapping all the interior bulbs to LED's.



This weekend got my hands on a Milltek cat back system and decat pipe! (the misses actually paid for most of it for my birthday :thumbup: ) Need more noise while saving for the Akra. Just waiting for delivery and then getting it on asap.

Nice bulb update, need to do mine badly, all my cars have had zenons so it's weird to see yellow lights lol.

You need an akra in your life mate, out mine on yesterday and it is unreal, YouTube videos don't do it justice.

What size bulb does the 200 take? Also what wattage and temp are these? I'm looking for some white bulbs with a bit of blue but don't want those overly blue bulbs that look stupid and chav. Like a nice white xenonish light

Alex the bulbs are H7's 150w and 4,750k roughly lol Yeah I know what you mean, I think these do just that. Mtec do a whiter version to mate.

Quick update ~ Had a busy couple of weeks. Firstly got my hands on a Milltek cat back and decat system. Thanks to [MENTION=27949]Shippo[/MENTION] for getting it on for me on a Sunday! The sound is so much better pops nicely and really comes alive over 4k rpm.

(Not a great pic ~ was to excited lol)


Finally got my private plate sorted (only took 3 months thanks to the dvla ). I was then able to jump on the Rs Tunning Remap group buy. It was a fun day out, the weather wasn't great and the road works were shocking, but found a back route home I was very impressed with the figures it got, Paul really knows his stuff. The car pulls so much more in 1st, 2nd and 3rd, it just generally feels a lot better. It puts an even bigger smile on my face. :001_tt1:







The results - if only it made .9 more I would have been over the moon!!

[MENTION=41063]Pav[/MENTION] cheers mate! Personally I think it is, even more so if you have an exhaust any air filter etc! The car pulls a lot harder and for longer in the lower range! And it feels more responsive when you put your foot down in say third! If I hadn't had got the group buy I wouldn't have got one as soon as I did tbh mate, however it did get rid of the slight flat spot that the exhaust had made more noticeable

Quick Update

Finally got round to putting my wind deflectors on and a sticker from RS Tuning (couldn't decide where to put it)



And then while I've been away in Vegas I had it lowered with H&R Springs ~ the ride feels a tad bouncier and not as firm, however it still sticks like glue in the corners and looks better in my opinion... It also received the once over from [MENTION=27949]Shippo[/MENTION] while it had a room on his driveway... just a couple of pics of the new ride height.

Hey no worries kiddo enjoy cleaning it , ok ok I have no life but theres just something so rewarding about making a filthy car clean again especially white , even if it took 4 Brillo pads to remove the flies ( joke !! )

Not a fan of the stripe, personally, but if theres a few about I can understand wanting a bit of individuality, I think your mrs has done that well also haha.

Funny that [MENTION=27949]Shippo[/MENTION] I found 4 Brillo pads in Dannis boot!? Lol only joking did a cracking job will have to leave it more often!!
