Battery Cut Off Install

Hi Guys

I am installing a dry battery and an FIA Battery cut off to the track car. Do I just wire up the main cable to the 2 x Connectors? or use the other 4 points too?
Will it all be OK to have zero power when stood? i.e Will it effect anything else? (ECU)
