Just to vent my frustration really :lol::jumpon::jumpon:
3 pins came out with a bit of persuasion
1 pin would not come out, how can one pin get so stuck in?:001_huh:
Hammered it to bits (and I mean HAMMERED)
Lots of penetrating oil
Heat
Chopped in half - removed half and nice guiding hole and flat bit of pin to hit - nope
Bolt with head against pin and nut against brake Pad and tighten - nope
In vice - expand vice between pin and caliper using big bar to wind out vice - nope
Add heat to above - nope
Drill pin centre
Try pushing through with centre drilled - nope - rest of pin snaps as it's now hollow
Grind end off of one of my good screwdrivers to give nice tool to reach through caliper with solid O shape - place caliper on ground - hit screwdriver hard with big hammer - yay little bit of pin remaining slowly comes out.
