Bubbles on Rubber Seals around Pistons

Afternoon,

I went to change my front brake discs and pads this afternoon and noticed that the rubber seals around the pistons have some bubbles in (see picture)

I have decided not to change the pads and disc just yet as I may aswell replace all the seals at the same time.

Why would these have bubbled? Quality of Brake fluid? Or do they just do this after time?

I have asked for a price from Renault Wolverhampton but if anyone knows anywhere where they are cheap please let me know.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Would it be worth getting a complete refurb kit? Witho ring seals and new bleed nipples was looking at giving mine an overhaul and a paint after the winter, found a listing on eBay but unsure of quality as I seriously doubt they'll be brembo spares

There was someone a while back who had exactly the same issue.

Several possibilities, one I remember was wheel cleaners or aggressive cleaners.

Yeah there was a thread about this with a complete overhaul of the calipers including painting them was someone with a red 197 iiirc, il try find it and post.
