Car Service Indicator?

Do anyone know how early the 'service due soon' appears as im sure i had a good 4000 miles until my service was due, but its popped up?

Mine has just come on, about 1000 miles before the the recommended interval. 4000 could be correct if you drive it hard.

mine came on with 7500k left so I just reset it back to 12k lol. Service isnt due until December

Yeah mine has come on early in the past. IIRC it also runs on date, so if its been 12months since your last service it could've popped up.
