Catalytic converter advice

hi, I am taking my car to get an unsilenced mid pipe for my resonated milltek cat back for my 197 made by my local powerflow garage, but I would like to change the cat, but should I get a decat or a sports cat? is there much of a difference between the 2? and would there be less of a flat spot with the sports cat compared with the decat?

When I fitted my 197 with the oreca system it removed the main cat, and I already had a toyosport manifold so I decided to fit a sports cat so it would pass an mot.
Have you still got the previous cat in the original manifold? I ran it for a couple of months before the sport cat was fitted, I didn't notice any difference in the way the engine behaved, but that's a comparison between a sport and a de cat. Whatever you do I'd get it remapped anyway, I didn't feel much of a flat spot before but it was far more responsive after the remap.
