Clio 197 Track Rod Part Numbers and Wheel Bearing Question???

Hi,

I've been told that the 197 shares it's tie rods with quite a few other Renaults, does anyone know if this is right and do we know part numbers??
Also I have a drone from my front wheel bearing has anyone changed one?? is it difficult do they have to be pressed in??

Hi mate I have changed both my track rods on my 197 not sure about same as any other renault. The front wheel bearings bolt on I am pretty sure, but not changed one yet. Track rods are easy to change. Just make sure you have stillsons handy lol.

The front wheel bearings do bolt on BUT the hub part, what the disc then wheel bolts to is pressed into the bearing.

A bearing is £60 + vat (R-Sport) and a hub is £92 + but yours should be ok, R-Sport will sell you a bearing with a new hub pressed in ready to bolt in for £155+ vat.

7701475837 had mine done yesterday, thats the P/N on the invoice. from what I can see on below website, the 197 part has the same part number as standard MK3 clios.
