clutch slipping!

My clutch has started slipping today, car has only done 30k, has this happened to many other people?? Looks like I'm going to have to fork out for a new clutch

Is it definately the clutch and not the tyres loosing traction?

Definatly not losing traction as I was doin like 20 in 4th and would happen in 3rd at like 15mph. On a wet road not snow.

been a few clutch slave cylinders leak and fail

Definitely no ice on the road? I've had a slipping clutch on an old car and the clio spinning up on ice can feel pretty similar

luke i had that about 2 yrs ago happend a few times
i still got the same clutch and dont happen now:thumbsup:

think theres been a few master cylinders stick as well - might be worth checking:thumbsup:

The cold weather can do some weird things, I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with it!

If the boiler stops working and you can hear glugging noises inside, then it has probably frozen! Poor some hot water over the pipe and it should free it, but if it doesn't then the old hack saw has to come out! Lol!
