Cup springs with standard 197 dampers

Right I'm looking at running the follow set up, cup springs on standard 197 dampers.

What I want to know is has anyone done this and what they thought?
Does it give any improvement?

I'm think of doing this as I want the drop that the cup springs give without getting too harsh a ride as I use the car everyday.

I'd say this would be a waste of time, the drop is not even noticeable anyway, better off getting some h&r or equivalent lowering springs mate.

I've got a set of cup springs her ready to post out if your after a set let me know.

But I agree, I'd get a set of H&Rs....standard cups 7mm drop isn't noticeable
