Exhaust Tick Tick Tick

Hi all,

Recently noticed the standard exhaust making a ticking (Type) of noise.

Any ideas?

The car is stationary...

I can't watch the vid at work, but is this all the time or just after a blast? It's normal if the exhaust hads been really hot for it to 'tick' whilst cooling down.

The engine was running. Had not been driven hard or anything. Just a normal drive on the A2 for around 30mins...

not really a "tick" more of an off-beat "chuff" sound at times....

as long as the engine is running smooth and even and has a steady idle speed i wouldnt worry too much - mines does at times make a similar sound and dont forget these engines are a bit "cammy" compared to other lower tune engines

I've noticed mine doing that but i did think it was the sound bouncing off the diffuser.

My 200 does that when stationary too sometimes. Although it more of a very quiet pop for me.
