From bad to worse

So i was driving back on the motorway today everything was great when i got off the Engine light came on and check emissions was the message on the dash, The car is decatted and has a miltek exhaust, I have brought a RS200 Manifold and cat which i might be fitting soon I wondered is the sensor going to be the Lamada sensor and is this an easy fix to get the light off also Im running around 22mpg is this normal or do you reckon this could be the sensor causing the car to give false readings and over fuel?

did the msg go away after you had turned the engine on/off?
maybe the lambda sensor...

i did a little on off and it stayed on it will have been left for a while so i'll check if it's gone next time i start it
