Graphics Interchange Format - it's a file type. Normally quite low quality, but they the sort've pictures that can be animated. Such as the ones above.

Massive opportunities for a good lol.

In other words - animated pictures.

Wrote it big incase it gets asked again - not to be a knob or patronising.

I have seen loads of brilliant ones, a DJ forum i visit regularly had a thread 200+ pages long dedicted to .GIFs just like these.. Shame it went down.
