H7 or H1 for projector headlights?

Do the projector lights for the 197 use H1 or H7 bulbs for dipped beam?

I'm buying a HID kit so need to make sure they're the right ones

Can't comment on the 197 but my 200's projectors are H1 Ben.

Thanks Daz. I actually managed to sort this, the clio with projectors uses H1 as it's dipped beam

Fitted my HID's this afternoon without removing the bumper. Took a little work and ingenuity but I got there in the end!

Will put some pics in the gallery once it's a bit darker outside.

Nice one. I didn't even try as I was swapping the entire headlight for projectors. How are you finding them? I'm loving my new xenons, never had them on a car before

Loving them so far Ben, coming from the xenon's of the 182, the 200's halogen headlights let the car down a little in my opinion.

Much improved output now and finish off the front end nicely.
