Had an alternator change everything working fine, drove it the day after got to work. Left the car went to go home car won’t start. There seems to now be a ‘steering fault’ the lock doesn’t seem to engage so it won’t start. However after I pulled out a relay and put it back in it decided to work for a 30 min drive and the steering fault stop light popped up while driving. Anyone got any ideas?. I’ve ordered a new relay, I’m guessing it isn’t to do with the steering lock as it popped on while driving. Loose wires? Alternator earth not earths red properly?
