Hi all!
Thought I'd sign up on here as I got my very first Renault sport yesterday! I say it's my very first for a reason, and one that I'll probably get gunned down for on here, but I've never liked the idea of owning a Renault because 1- they're French, and they haven't got the best reputation for that, and 2- they're reliability and build quality.
But I couldn't get away fromthe fact that I've always liked the 197 ever since they were first released, I think Renault got it spot on when it came to the chunky styling. So, I ate my own words as I always used to tell my mate to sell his 172 cos it was so unreliable, especially when it came to the gearbox, and took the plunge in getting one, now I feel like a hypocrite!
Anyway, first impressions when driving it home yesterday (or the early hours of this morning) was really good actually, and I'm really liking the car so far!
Unfortunately I don't have any photos to hand but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a known car on here or if the owner who did all the work on it is a member on here (as it has some mods) but when I get a chance I'll get some decent photos up.
Whilst I'm here though I would like to throw in a wanted request and I'm really sorry if the mods don't take a liking to this but I'm kinda desperate! I'm in need of some rear seats (base, folding back rests, and head rests, and seat belt clasps) and a parcel shelf for the Clio I've just got cos the rear has been stripped of these parts, and the reason I say I'm kinda desperate is cos I've got kids so may need to take them out in the car for what ever reason. So if anyone has these parts lying around or know of where I could get them then please let me know!
