How much would i get P/X?

Selling my 197 for a van due to work, tried selling it online for £9,000 but its going nowhere..

What do you think I'll get for P/X?

Its an '08 plate with 28,000 on the clock.

Ring a couple of dealers or ask on the RS forum ?

I'm going to do that tomorrow, but with the whole snow situation its a bit of a pain to get out anywhere! Just wondered if anybody had got quotes on theres.

I'll ask on the RS forum now. :thumbup1:

Dealers on there should be able to give you up to date info but it normally depnds what your px'ing against I think ?

I asked for a laugh 2 months ish ago. R27 with 20k at the time. against a new 200 / 250

8 -8.5 k "but we don't really want it at the moment" we already have one in

Its probably worth about £7k trade. What you get as a part ex price will depend on the dealers margins on the vehicles they sell.

ill get you a p/x price tomorrow when im in work. But theres a big difference between a p/x and a sell to dealers. Knowing from when i traded mine in the 197 are poison to have in stock. Unless its snapped up right away they can sit for ever and a day. :nope:

Cheers. P/X or sell to dealers, not too fussed. If I'm P/X'ing it will be against a van, so I'm guessing they won't want it.

Webuyanycar will give me just over 8, haha.

I definitely bought my 197 at the wrong time, some of the 197's I've seen going recently I'd have snapped peoples arms off for when I was buying :worried:

I've been offered just under 8k a few times now. Looks like I might get the value I'm looking for.

Going to see some places tomorrow

I'm guessing from the ha ha you know they wont.

I got a quote from them online for my 156 @ £5850 and when I turned up they offered £3750 and I really look after my motors so it was very very good for its age.

All you need to know is its Carcraft

CAP

Average £7850 Clean £8250

Dont think 8k is out of the question. Depends on what the dealer is prepared to pay for an oddball car.

Plus most dealers are struggling at bit at the moment as in many parts of the country snow has effectively stopped play for most of last week (unless you are a 4x4 specialist), plus not a lot typically happens during late Dec, so stock either needs to be readily saleable, or cheap enough to hold onto for a while.

Depending on how soon you need to change, you might want to hold out until Jan as the books typically lift a touch.

The guy who offered me 8 at P/X said hes had a few of them in and they've sold very well.

They originally offered me around 7, but I said I wasn't interested, 5 mins later they rang back offering me 8, lol..

I'd be happy with 8 tbh, wouldn't really take any less. Going to see a few people later i think.

I got offered £7500 for a 2007 57 plate from a ford dealer p/x which I thought was pretty decent.... Not going through them now so hoping I get close to that private
