I've got an ongoing knocking/grumbling noise coming from the passenger front wheel area. When going over bumps i get the noise. Initially thought it was suspension related but its been looked at on a ramp, with the track rod end replaced which has helped but the noise is still there and the mechanic can't see any play anywhere else. I also had the top mounts changed for peace of mind but its not helped
But I've noticed whilst stuck in traffic that when i pull away and im at the biting point of the clutch i get the grumble noise so im thinking maybe engine mount? Is there one over towards the passenger side area? Or could it be drive shaft even though on a flat road its fine with no noise.
