LY 197 Two Day Spring Clean

A couple of months ago myself and my brother spent a weekend detailing his 197 R27. We got a bit engrossed and forgot to take all the progress shots but there's plenty of "afters" which is what matters.

The stages were as follows
Foam with Megs Hyper Wash
2bm with Megs Hyper Wash
Door shuts and crevices cleaned with Daisy APC
Wheels removed and cleaned with Bilberry and IronX
Bodywork done with IronX
Tar removed with Valet Pro citrus tar remover
Engine bay cleaned with APC and dressed with 303 aerospace
Inner arches cleaned and dressed with 303 Aerospace
Wheels sealed with Chemical Guys Wheel Guard
Tyres dressed with Poorboys Natural Look dressing
Interior tidied, vacuumed and dressed Poorboys Natural Look dressing
Clayed with Megs clay
Glazed with Poorboys White Diamond
Sealed with Poorboys EX-P

Nicely done m8, what a difference, its the wee sily bits like cleaning the door shuts that defo make the diference :smiley:

Engine bay was APC (Daisy) plus the last of some Autoglym Engine Degreaser to clean it, then 303 Aerospace Protectant to dress the plastics.

If you squirt the 303 on then brush it around with a paintbrush (a clean, new one) it works well and means less overspray / wastage.

Looking good dude! Funny how easily you seem to be able to spend a weekend detailing a car isn't it!
