Mapping issues

hi just a quick question as i know very little

Had a remap done when i had my akro installed , just had it data logged and is reading very lean on fuel 14 to 16
like i say i know very little on this subject
opinions, reasons and best soloutions appreciated to feed my head

rs200 running akro and ktec induction

You say data logged, presume you've had a good quality wide band checking it? Have you got a full AFR report, or a printout on a RR type run all peformed at WOT?

16 is lean on WOT, but need more info than just 14-16 really. part or wide throttle? 14 is not especially lean, on an NA car I would expect to see 13-13.5 at WOT typically, every car has it's variances.

I spent a grand on upgrades for a 1.1 TCE. I got 120BHP out of it, 2 months later it popped. Understandable that it wouldn't have lasted much longer after the map, but two months? Jesus. It was down to misfiring and detonation.
