Anyone been in one of these before?

Mate just picked up an '07 plate for £10k.

Can't believe how rapid they are, 2.3 ltr turbo, 260bhp and sooo much torque.

Lovely bit of kit for £10k, full bose soundsystem as well as standard!

If it wasn't a mazda and rather ugly on the outside - i would buy one instantly.

Yeah I had a similar dilema when I was buying the clio. They are immensely quick cars but as you have said they are not very attractive inside or out. I must admit the power was addictive but there is no character to the car. I didn't connect and I wouldn't have enjoyed driving it as much as I have done with my clio, they are pretty crap in the corners!

I think they are quite nice looking from the outside, never seen the inside though.

Test drove one prior to getting the Volvo, yes theyre brisk in a straight line... the rest is Mazda and some Ford thrown in.

Also test the RX8 and was very dissapointed... a very very overated car, that i wanted to like and was utterly let down by.

To me the only decent car they have is the MX5... yet it looks gay. If they beefed it up, turned it into a coupe and dropped the RX8 lump into it, then it would be amazing.

But id much rather spend my monies elsewhere.
