Flex are excellent machines but i don't have ear defenders lol

Nice set up. I wouldn't mind some lights, less for detailing (I've got use of a our 3,500 sq' industrial unit) but for photography inside the unit would be handy. I'd also like to change my Das6Pro for a rotary just to make lighter work of corrections, but it's a big investment if I'm just doing my own cars (my paint doesn't really need correction anymore).

What do you think to the Hex-Logic pads and Chem Guys compounds? I'm looking at changing things up a little from the Menzerna pads and compounds I've got at the moment (I'm also p*ssed that ive had 2 menzerna pads fail, one of them after just half a car - it separated from the backing velcro!).

I have done approx 6 car polishing projects with those hexlogics and so far those pads are still okay.
You have to remember that dual action polisher eats pads. Rotary is more gentle for pads and i do everything i can with flex rotary. Only finishing is thing i do with dual action polisher.
I think chemical guys compounds are fine and work as i want. I bought detailing kit from chemicalguys which included 3 different compounds + flex rotary machine. Now i have to stop wasting money for my detailing hobby
maybe i will buy flex dual action machine and i then sell that shinemate das6.
