First time posting on a car site,looking forward to getting tips and advise from fellow Rs owner,first time owning a Renault.Just bought a clio 197 2007. . The previous owner removed the centre resonator, the flat spot at 2.5k was very noticeable. Took the car to a local performance shop and did a stage 2 remap with rev limiter removal. The flat spot was virtually gone,took it back a week later and installed a custom perfomance exhaust - 63mm decat with 1 box going in to the standard exhaust tips . FYI from South Africa.
