Noise from rear wheels - bearings?

Hi,

I'm getting a really distinctive noise from the rear of the car when driving. It's more noticeable on smooth roads. It started about a month ago (quietly), but is definitely getting worse. Its a whirring type noise and sounds like the wheel bearing(s).
The rear discs and pads are absolutely fine and have loads of life left in them. Does anyone know if it's possible to just change the rear wheel bearings or is it going to mean replacement bearings, discs & pads?

Thanks

Whurring as in like a wheel may have thrown a weight? Have you checked that out?

The bearings are in the brakes maybe swap n/s for o/s and mirror the pads see if that sorts it out? X x

Thanks for the kisses woody :tongueout:inky: haha

Yeah I might try that mate. Is it possible to replace the bearings on their own? Or do you have do replace the job lot?

I think you can replace the bearings, probably need a press but they are replaceable. The reason new OE discs come with bearings already fitted is because you can't get the old ones out without breaking them.
