Puddles undernearth windscreen!

Hi

Just wondering if anybody could let me know if this is normal or not? I'm guessing not!

Went to clean all the leaves and gunk that build up in the corner underneath the bonnet last night. Removed the tray underneath the windscreen, and on both sides right at the back of the engine bay are puddles of water. I soaked them up with some cloth so they are no longer there, but is this normal?

Any help would be great!

Common fault, there is a drain hole at each end and they become blocked. Look at this thread on the RS forum;

You may be able to clear it from above, but be prepared to take the arch liners out and have a go from below; that is what I had to do with one side on mine.
