r27 top coolant hose rubbing on alternator bracket common problem or am I the only on

Hi

I have an 08 r27 as standard as possible but with a rubbed through top radiator hose from contact with alternator bracket
Is this a common problem ?
Or am I on my own ?
Anyone ever seen this ?

Never heard of it before.. If this is the bracket between alt and inlet manifold, just get rid of it -pointless item anyway

I am just worried if another bracket or similar has failed causing radiator to drop a bit
