Rear disc question. thanks

Hey thanks very much for that I've just checked and they only seem too stock 1 set of rear discs for £149.99 which is drilled and groved, I'm only after standard to be fair.

Not sure about plain disks but they do drilled, grooved, drilled + grooved and dimpled + grooved.

Get yourself subscribed, Renault Wolverhampton is doing rear discs and pads for £211.50 posted http://www.clio197.net/forum/showthread.php?44083-Second-special-offer-)

Alternatively you can try Allcarpartsfast, you'll need 2 of these http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/renault/renault-8200736267-brake-disc-single/ and pads are here http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/renault/renault-440661332r-rear-brake-pads/ I've used them before for front brake pins and they take a while to deliver (four or five days) but they're cheap.

The thing I figured with the rear discs is since they have the ABS rings and bearing in, it's probably best just to go for the Renault parts.

don't be under the illusion that the abs rings are separate on the rear discs...they are built in to the actual bearing/seal....

Abs rings are seperate on the rear disc, I removed mine as one was damaged on arrival, there's a small groove around the rear of the hub that it clips to, unless the abs rings changed at some point mines a 2011 200

not on the ones I have done...the excitor ring is sat in the bearing and forms part of the bearing oil seal

nube5e3u.jpg this is exactly the same as I have fitted (damaged one) and it matched what came off as you can see the abs reluctor ring is off the disc and the groove can be seen that it clips into, unless that's not the abs ring :/ or they've changed the design at some point which they seem to do at random haha with no end of problems :worried:
