Remap/tuning North-east

only places i can seem to find do generic maps like superchips etc.

i know of turbopacs but dont think they do custom remaps on he rolling road as far as i know.

i found a company called PDTuning near sunderland which look pretty good. they do proper rolling road set up and seem like a proper outfit

im getting a lot of good reviews about rstuning

im going to contact both of these to see what they can do for my car and prices etc

rs tuning is your best bet because they specialise in the renault sport range. I wouldnt take it anywhere i hadnt heard off as the 197s ecu is quite complicated and some cars have problems with losing the map. Mine is a rs tuning map, setted up at tdf in cambridge.

hi mate im from sunderland, personally i would spend the money and go to RS tuning in leeds even though i cant speak from experiance but from thread on here they seem tried and tested by all accounts.

turbopacs - years since i'v heard anything about them and personally i have not heard anything good about them.

dont know what the one in bolden PD tuning does, think they do mainly flash remaps on turbo diesels, could be wrong though.

I Phoned them and they do proper remaps on the dyno. He seemed to know what he was talking about to be fair. Especially why the renults run so badly when cold

Apparently the cold map is retarded heavily so the engine can't be overworked when cold same as the BMW m3.

He also said that for big gains the cat needs to be removed as with the cat in they need to be slightly cautious not to overheat the cat and manifold. The cat create alot of heat in the manifold

I don't want to de cat it so was thinking if either a remap alone or with a cat back exhaust too

I wouldn't touch turbopacs. I'm going to try rs tuning again tomorrow and get some info.

Dyno with pipercross air filter and superchips remap (this is a old dyno)
