RS200 Steering lock

Hi,

is there any way to disable the steering lock so the wheels can be turned without the engine running?

Renault said something about sticking it in 1st and holding the start button till the lights go out but this doesn't seem to be working?

Any ideas?

Unless its really well hidden I can't see a slot anywhere.

Excellent, didn't even notice that. It's a mate car I'm doing work on, he must be slightly retarded.
