Running 18's

Are there any cons in running 18" alloys on the Clio?

tyres are costlier and if you go for track day tyres sometimes choice is limited!

yeah tyre price was the first thing that sprung to mind for me, I wont get any rubbing issues will I? Im not lowered.

no! loads of room in the arches - more so if you use renault wheels

cannot use mine lowered if i did wouldnt have a sump left after going over the buttertubs :001_rolleyes:

An 8x18 with an et of 40 will stick out i belive, ones with an et of 55 fill out the arches, these will stick out 15mm more.

Can you run 18's on a lowered car (non-coilies) or would there be too much arch rubbing?

I'm running Meg225 F1 225/40R18 on my car with H&R 35/40 springs. No arch rubbing at all.
