Saturday morning drive to see a U2........

Well i was up early yesterday morning for a drive to RAF Fairford to hopefully catch the U2 depart to Beale AFB California. The drive includes some decent driving roads and i have to say my R26 is dam good fun on the country roads:thumbup:
Here's some pics:
1. If you see the program James May at the edge of space this is basically the same plane although this is the single seat version.

Fantasic photos mate, especially the first one of your Meg'. That plane is a superb bit of kit, I remember that episode well with May nearly in tears.

Ha. Ha. I thought you meant the group U2!

Used to see these take off an land from USAF alconbury whilst at work.

Im pretty sure nick uses a pretty epic lens though, I remember gettin glass envy the last time someone asked him what he was using lol...

Yeah i use a Canon EOS 7D and Canon 300mm F4 lens for the U2 pics, For the car pics its the 7D again and a sigma 17-70mm.
The first pic of my car i used a ND filter other than that it's been sharpened a touch thats all .
