Shortshifter anyone?!?!

Has this been done?? I've looked online and there doesn't seem to be anything available!! Would it even be worthwhile? :huh:

The Clio box is quite short shift anyway, especially when you drive other cars. Not heard of it being done before, but not sure people have ever felt the need? Always a first though mate if you want to tackle it!

I'd end up ruining it mate...and i'm not stuffing up a volatile renault gearbox :lol:

Misses put one on here 182 and it is a pig! Crunches in 4th everytime and cant get it in reverse, pops out of 1st occassionally too.

Made it shorter no doubt but its so stiff that missing a gear is all too easy.

Besides the 197 box is cheese internal spec anyway, you wouldnt wanna rush it any more!

just got my own car back with yet another gearbox in it now. Was told they actually use plastic parts in the gearbox .... so like gandy said ^^ (not the real gandy).
