Speedo binnacle removal

Was looking at getting some carbon bits for my car and I really like the SC speedo binnacle, just wondering whether the standard one just pulls out?

Kinda clips in from the bottom. I just used a flat dinner knife and popped it out.

I think there's a guide in the 'how to' section.

And the SC one has to be bonded in according to their site. If SC did a piece that was a straight swap I might also be temped.

Well the SC carbon is quite thin, so I would expect a lot of flex, so would definitely need to be bonded on to the same one.

I personally wouldn't buy one without seeing one fitted. I can't get my head around how it fits onto the existing binnacle and you can't see the edges of the carbon one.

Oh right, well it takes one person to part with cash and take the plunge, that will probably be me, then ill post some photos up, cant be too bad

I wouldn't fancy bonding the surround in the dash, so what if I want to remove the clocks afterwards? And then if the bonding is not right you'd have rattling etc...

Just take it out and spray it, it looks the business and loooads cheaper:wink:
