Spirit Blue Fiesta ST

With my 197 I felt as if I was at petrol station every other day, now it feels like once of twice a week lol.

looks great noddie!

I don't regret leaving my 200 due to the ford costing a lot less. Well it feels that way, I don't tend to think I visit a petrol garage every other day!

I do really like what you're doing to your car, Noddie. Stop giving me bad ideas haha.

the st has will/has saved me so far (yearly figures)..

tax - £135
insurance - £150
fuel - £500
maintenance - £300

The one major downside of owners clubs/forums. Someone does something you like and you have to have it. Has cost me a lot of money this problem lol.

I do just over 350 miles a week back and fro from work so still visiting the petrol stations once a week.

Best Fiesta ST colour IMO and that splitter looks great.

Had the splitter fitted this morning. It really does look superb. Amazing how what is essentially a bit of plastic can do the look of the front of the car.

Will get pics once it stops raining.

It didn't stop raining but that didn't stop me grabbing some pics:

That looks cool mate, I can't help but think if you split the headlights like mentalpen has done with the meg and darken them. It will looks so mean.

A lot of people have had issues with their DRLs failing and having them replaced under warranty. If one was to fail after modifying the headlight I'd have to foot the bill for a full new headlight.

Though I agree the black backed lights look superb.

One of mine failed, wonder how much a pair of headlights costs?!

Looks a lot better

You need to take pictures at the freshly refurbished unit in broadwood

Ha! Best place to do it as theres usually nobody around to see a strange guy taking photos of his car lol.

If the £200 to replace one of the eliminated kick plates is anything to go by, headlights will be uber expensive.

One headlight is £290 + VAT!

Look forward to hearing your thoughts on it once you've had it out on track. I think you'll find the experience surprisingly Clio RS like. Only with torque. Lots of it.

I'm sure the standard fiestas that have led drls are the same headlight, there's quite a lot of them on the road so will keep checking eBay!

Have planned a little road trip for the Fiesty (Nearly the same trip we did with the 200 back in 2011).

Nice trip Martin! I'd love to do something like this in the Clio. We've got a site in Spey and one in Bonar Bridge and I did a sales call up in Oban too when I was there last with work so a similar trip and the roads and scenery are out of this world! Shame I was in the 1.6tdci Fiesta SportVan at the time, but I did at least remember to strap down my tools and parts first . Was in the middle of summer too, the hills around Bonar are almost as crazy as the locals (my hangover almost took the fun out of the drive home lol!)

What miles miles per day are you looking at there and how many driving hours each day
