Chaps, other than the slightly lower prices of 225s compared to 215s, and marginal increase in tread width, are there any particular pros or cons of 225s over 215s? Do 225s fit ok?

225's fit ok, some people say you get rubbing issues but I've never experienced that even with lowerIng springs.
Another thing to consider is that with the aspect ratio being 45 you do a have a slightly higher wall, about 4mm so it does raise the car but in the same respect it also reduces the gap between the tyre and the arch.
Wouldn't worry to much about the width being different. Sounding like a broken record as I always mention it, most other if not all manufacturers fit 225's to 7.5J rims and not 215's
