Urgent! Petrol cap on 197 will not open

Pulled up at petrol station and the fuel flap will not open on my 197

Tried locking and unlocking several times, no joy.

Anyone had this problem? Advice please.

I've had a look mate, carpet and trim off. There isn't one according to Renault

Old credit card slide it in and pop the lock

there is no "proper" release...you have to get your hand up behind the seat belt mechanism etc and lift the release lever on the flap lock motor

just took the motor out completely lads, stupid design - unlocking and locking the key fob; you can see the motor is not moving enough to clear the hole.

new motor needed by looks of things. . . .
