Clio Meg RS320bhp conversion (update Meg Rad)

Nah, want to keep the costs down for the build and equally, no need....320bhp will be enough.

That'll be your famous last words

It'll be amazing once done. What exhaust system are you going for, id go 3" bore with a decat and just a back box.

Lol...I hope so. Still lots to think about. The mistakes I've made in past projects is to jump to quickly into stuff. Thinking to keep cost down using the existing exhaust system.

Got the first part (aside from engine & gearbox)
a ecu (lol)...just need now uprated fuel pump, intercooler, decat, hybrid turbo.......etc

This is not going to happen next year is it?

It'll be this year at a guess :jump1:

I wish lol. Theres a couple of issues that need to be further explored. I guess things will haven't been done for a reason but nothing that can't be sorted. Also trying to keep the cost of the build down which means being patient and waiting for parts to come up. I am always amazed by what stuff come up on forums and fleebay. Just needs a bit of luck and having the money ready.

I hope you can share all the "problems" that arise from sticking the Meg 250 as it'll mean easier installations for us wanna-bes.

Nothing Steve can't do, I can't wait till this gets going, awesome project!!

A little closer....225 shafts, 250 turbo and R26 gearbox (250 gearbox is too big). The rest of the stuff is pretty much custom.

sounds like us regular '225' converted boys need to up our game!! haha

Glad its all coming together nicely. Will be awesome when done.
