My Full Fat Mistress - 293bhp F4RT - The end of an era...

I've got a set of RC6 already:worried:

I've also got some slightly used ProFriction I got from Litchy, apparently they have a compound similar to Pagid RS29 so I'll probably use those. The problem is that I'm a bit aggressive with the brakes, last year i run out of braking power the first day with brand new DS2500 and the PF 330mm discs.

Poo:worried:

You could use the RC6 for your trip bit you'll see a difference in wear and you'll notice the fallout on your car.

The Pfriction should be ok. I have PF01 on the rear, bloody good pad.

Personally I think DS2500'S are overated

Bloody hell mate are they that bad? I mean I wouldn't choose RC6 for everyday that's for sure but I'm thinking to use them for my Alpine trip, 10 days in September. I really don't fancy ruining £550 worth of them PF rotors!!!

Absolutely. Did say Yiannis about these bloody pads. They are absolutely superb as Mr F says but Christ they've demolished my PF's (lucky they were used anyway) and my front wheels have had to be repainted cause the brake dust doesn't shift that easily.

Think you'll be ok for 10 day trip.....

So Wilson are yours (ProFriction) as bad as the RC6s mate? The RS29 compound is ''said'' to be milder on the discs but maybe this is just in theory.

Either way I think I'll go with yours and see how it goes.

(Angel sorry for hijacking mate)

Mine are def milder than RC6's. Theres no problem with them for 10 days. TBH Yiannis I got lazy with washing down the wheels so the build up of brake dust could have been prevented. I love those brakes so much....just not good for a daily!!!!

Quick update..

Decided to ditch the evil RC6 pads in favour of some DS's. Thought it might be time to try something new on the bells so opted for Candy metallic purple.

Also got the wheels refurbished and finished in gloss black. Really pleased with the results.

Got something a little special going on tomorrow too

Damnnn.

The black looks the dogs. Whole set up is beast mate!

And @Yiannis197 why dont you just have wheel cleaner with you and give it a once over every other day?!
